We don't sell your information, and we don't use it to advertise to you. This page explains what SayDoo collects on trysaydoo.com and inside the consoles we build, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
SayDoo builds trade businesses their own AI console, keeps it running, and teaches their teams to use it. SayDoo was founded in North Carolina by Shawn Keding and Johnathan Westbrook. "We" and "us" on this page means SayDoo.
What we collect
- What you send us on this website. When you book a demo, join a list, apply or ask a question, we get what you type into the form: usually your name, email, phone number, company and message.
- Sign-in details. When you sign into a SayDoo console with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use them to sign you in and show who you are inside your company's console. We never see your Google password.
- Work you put into a console. Contacts, jobs, estimates, invoices, photos, notes, files and messages that you and your team add to your company's console.
- Connected accounts, only if your company turns them on. If your company connects Gmail, Google Drive, Outlook or QuickBooks, the console reads and sends what that connection needs to do its job, such as the email threads matched to a customer, or an invoice sent to QuickBooks.
- Basic usage data. Page visits and technical details like browser type, so we can keep the site and consoles working.
How we use it
- To answer you, run your demo and follow up on what you asked about.
- To run your company's console: sign you in, store your work, send the notifications you set up, and power its AI assistant.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it.
We don't sell personal information. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use your company's records to train AI models.
Google user data
SayDoo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google sign-in gives us only your name, email and profile picture. Gmail and Drive access happens only when your company connects its own Google account. That data is used only to show and send your company's own mail and files inside its console, and it is never sold, used for ads, or read by people at SayDoo unless you ask us for help, it's needed for security, or the law requires it.
Who helps us run it
We use a small number of service providers, and they handle data only to provide their service to us:
- Hosting and database: Vercel and Supabase.
- AI: the AI assistant inside a console sends the request you give it to an AI provider such as Anthropic, or to the provider your company chooses.
- Email: services like Google Workspace, Zoho and MailerLite to send and receive messages.
- Payments: Stripe processes card and bank payments. We never see or store full card numbers.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect people's safety or our rights.
Your company owns its data
The records in a company's console belong to that company. When we build a console for a business, that business decides who on its team can see what, and it can ask for a full copy of its data at any time. If a customer relationship ends, we hand over a copy before we delete ours.
How long we keep it
We keep website inquiries as long as they're useful for following up, and console data for as long as the company uses SayDoo. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
- Ask what we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of that email.
- Disconnect Google or any other connected account from your console settings, or revoke access from your Google account at any time.
If you work for a company that uses SayDoo, requests about that company's records go to your company first, since they own them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, each company's records are walled off from every other company's, and connection keys are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you trust us with.
Children
SayDoo is built for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 16.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For any privacy question or request, reach us through the form on our demo page and say it's a privacy request. We'll answer within 30 days.
